书籍简介

This is a poignant story, told in verse, about a young girl overcoming grief and loss - and finding her own voice. Pearl's world is changing. Her beloved grandmother has got Alxheimer's and doesn't always recognize her, the kids at school have turned mean, her mother is distracted by looking after her grandmother and her teacher keeps trying to make her write poems that rhyme. When her grandmother dies, Pearl doesn't know how she will cope with her grief and that of her mother, but she finds a wonderful way to express herself in a poem - non-rhyming - at her grandmother's funeral, and earns the respect and affection of her teacher and classmates. By the end of the book, (written in non-rhyming verse), Pearl realizes that not all change is bad and that good can come from the worst situations. This is a heartwarming and often very funny look at love and loss aided by charming illustrations by Heather Potter. In Australia, "Pearl" was the Children's Book Category Winner of the Indie Award 2009 and was shortlisted for the QLD Premier's Literary Award.framing relationship.'Being Taken In' offers insight from child psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, child development research and neuroscience which will be of use to all those living and working with disturbed children.GE GF GG GH GI GL GM GN GP GQ GR GS GT GW GY HK HM HN HR HT HU ID IL IM IN IO IQ IR IS IT JE JM JO JP KE KG KH KI KM KN KP KR KW KY KZ LA LB LC LI LK LR LS LT LU LV LY MA MC MD ME MF MG MH MK ML MM MN MO MQ MR MS MT MU MV MW MX MY MZ NA NC NE NF NG NI NL NO NP NR NU OM PA PE PF PG PK PL PM PN PS PT PW PY QA RE RO RS RU RW SA SB SC SD SE SG SH SI SJ SK SL SM SN SO SR ST SV SY SZ TC TD TF TG TH TJ TK TL TM TN TO TR TT TV TW TZ UA UG UY UZ VA VC VE VG VN VU WF WS YE YT YU ZM ZWTH TJ TK TL TM TN TO TR TT TV TW TZ UA UG UY UZ VA VC VE VG VN VU WF WS YE YT YU ZM ZWThe Origins of Attachment Theory - Inge Bretherton John Bowlby and Mary Ainsworth 'Something There Is That Doesn't Love a Wall' - Jeremy Holmes John Bowlby, Attachment Theory and Psychoanalysis VOLUME TWO PART ONE: THE EARLY CRITICS Discussion of Dr. John Bowlby's Paper - Anna Freud Discussion of Dr. John Bowlby's Paper - Rene Spitz A Cultural Anthropologist's Approach to Maternal Deprivation - Margaret Mead Maternal Deprivation, 1972-1978 - Michael Rutter New Findings, New Concepts, New Approaches PART TWO: MARY AINSWORTH AND THE STRANGE SITUATION The Development of Infant-Mother Interaction among the Ganda - Mary Ainsworth Attachment and Exploratory Behavior of One-Year-Olds in a Strange Situation - Mary Ainsworth and B.A. Wittig Individual Differences in Strange-Situation Behavior of One-Year-Olds - Mary Ainsworth, Sylvia Bell and D.J.
